London Voter Registration Week

London has one of the lowest voter registration rates across the UK regions and nations. Young people, private renters and Londoners from a Black and minority ethnic background remain under-registered and under-represented. So London Voter Registration Week is an opportunity to get registered and heard.
Registering to vote is very important – it allows you to take your place in London and in history. Not being registered to vote has other significant impacts, such as not being able to be selected for jury service, and increased difficulties in gaining a good credit rating.
