The Democracy Hub is run by the Greater London Authority (GLA), London's regional strategic authority, to help all Londoners participate in civic life and the democracy process.

We work with all London borough councils and a broad coalition of community partners to:

  • support Londoners, especially under-registered and under-represented communities, to exercise their civic and democratic rights
  • inform Londoners about changes to these rights, including voting requirements
  • run the annual London Voter Registration Week
  • conduct research on barriers to civic and democratic participation
  • gather community insights to ensure Londoners voices inform decision impacting them, their communities and our great city
